A weaving draft is a visual and numerical diagram that details the threading, treadling, and tie-up before warping, threading, and weaving occur at the loom.

The physical cloth can differ from the diagram based on the qualities of the yarn, the tension of the loom, the density of warp threads, and an innumerable other mysterious weaving situations. Stretching out the pattern or compressing it, making it seen or unseen. This remediation between weaver, material, and loom is present as I am looking at drafts from other weavers and I play and spend time with the draft in its many stages and evolutions.
